Mark Kelly and his winning drawing .
My first ever art competition came to a successful end on Saturday . The public have been voting for their favourite piece of art for 3 weeks and I was very glad to announce the winner of the adult category was Mark Kelly and the under 18s was Sophie Miller . Marks entry one of three fantastic entries was called Moonlight equine and Sophie’s one of two entries was called owl . Both artists achieved first and second place . Sophie with her duck painting and Mark with his Leopard drawing . It was a great turnout to see the winners announced . With a special prize to Mags for her excellent Elgar painting . See you all next year 😊
Inspired by my lovely walks on the hills and wonderful sight of the bluebells I intend to do a series of bluebell paintings . It’s been amazing to walk through them all and the fragrance has been amazing . It’s a beautiful area we live in , get out and enjoy it . 😊
