MY STORY

I am a Herefordshire born artist now living in Gloucestershire near The River Severn.  I originally studied Ceramics at Herefordshire Art College but have always had an equal love of painting and colour which is a particular feature of my work.

 

My love of the outdoors inspires much of what I paint, from the rugged Cornish and Welsh coasts to the drama of the Welsh Mountains and the majestic woodlands of the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

Light and Colour are predominant feature of my paintings.  I also have a fundamental love of nature, in particular the beauty of trees. 

 

Blaize Bailey and the River Severn have become a huge inspiration to me.

I use mixed media, with a particular love of acrylics for their bold and bright colours.
