MY STORY
I am a Herefordshire born artist now living in the thriving market town of Ledbury. I originally studied Ceramics at Herefordshire Art College but have always had an equal love of painting and colour which is a particular feature of my work. My love of the outdoors inspires much of what I paint, from the rugged Cornish and Cardiganshire coasts to the drama of the Black Mountains. 2019 saw me take an 8 week trip around the country painting seascapes and landscapes, many of which can be seen here at The Fold.

Light and Colour are predominant feature of my paintings. I also have a fundamental love of nature, in particular the beauty of trees. Walking in the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean provided the inspiration for my last exhibition “Imagine” which focussed on forest and woodland views throughout the seasons, especially views through the the trees from the forest floor.

I am happy to undertake commissions from wedding scenes to pet portraits.
My new venture at The Fold is a culmination of many years of work and the desire to have my own permanent gallery and workshop space. I believe that art is for everyone and I am looking forward to sharing my passion for painting. I shall be running regular art workshops here at The Fold and taking advantage of this beautiful location and I look forward to welcoming everyone to my studio space to come and share my love of art.
