Wow, what a week weatherwise! I couldn't have asked for better weather for my week's holiday. The sun shone, the skies were blue and I got to explore the lakes, mountains and coast of North Cumbria. It was an opportunity to climb, explore and paint outdoors which is what I love to do. I shall be back in the gallery this week so come and joint me for Art Club or a weekly workshop and we can look at recreating some lovely mountain scenes or a project if your choosing. Looking forward to seeing my fellow creatives again...
Finally, we have had some sun. After months of grey skies. I have enjoyed getting back up on the hills and walking, enjoying our beautiful surroundings. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. It may form the basis of some new paintings....watch this space! Come and join me for some painting in the gallery, join my ART CLUB on a Thursday evening for a fun time painting with new friends.
The final Sunday market of the year and the wind is blowing but it is not deterring the visitors who have called in to say hello. We have one final Saturday Christmas market on 18th December so if you haven't bought all your Christmas presents yet then come along and grab a unique gift for your loved ones.
Last weekend was my birthday party and it was lovely to welcome all my loyal customers who have been with me from the beginning along with a few new faces. We had mulled wine and mince pies, a nice chat and it was a lovely day, despite the howling wind!! I look forward to another successful year here at the Fold and another celebration in 2021.
